Features & Performance

It is an upright and bagless model with a built in dirt cup. You can forever dispense with buying disposable bags. If you have a large house that needs frequent cleaning, then you can consider this vacuum as it is easy to maneuver and carry around.

It is powered by a 12 amp motor that provides good suction power.

It is an easy to use unit with the controls placed very ergonomically. You can reach most inaccessible places with its easy to use design. However the length of the power cord, at just 20 feet is slightly disappointing.

It also has a number of useful attachments. It has multi-surface cleaning capabilities. You can switch easily between cleaning the carpet to cleaning the floor with the on/off brush roll.

Pet owners are happy with the vacuum as they feel it cleans up pet hair very easily.

One significant draw back reported by users is with the overall usability of the dirt cup. The dirt cup is very small and fills up very easily. It would be a good idea to keep a couple of spare filters handy when you are cleaning a large area.

Because the dirt cup fills up easily, the unit tends to become very noisy within a short duration of use.

This vac has powerful suction-I'll give it that! Cleaning it is a chore. The best way to do so is with an air-gun, which, I'm sure most people don't own. What ends up sticking to the filter (i.e. hair w/ dirt in it) needs to be removed by hand. It has lasted a long time but without wheels (the wheels ended up falling off pretty quickly). Fifty dollars is fifty dollars, so look at some other vacuums!

I bought this vacuum cleaner for my grandmother since it is nice and light. However, the wheels broke of after two years of use.

Pros: Bagless vacuum cleaner for under $100, light weight, good suction, performed well.

Con: The wheels are plastic, riding on two plastic clips. Once the clips break, there's no way to fix it, other than replacing the base for $42+s&h. The filtering is done by an air filter, that clogs over time and loses suction. The warranty is only one year.

Overall: If you are looking for an in-expensive cleaner, for a small apartment, and are gentle with your vacuum, then it is a perfect vacuum for you. If you have the extra money, or a large house, or expect your vacuum to put up with some abuse, get a Dyson.

This vacuum works as well (or better)than the large, heavy uprights. The suction is excellent & it is easy to use. It is so light!!! Canister removes easily for empting. I like that you can turn off the brush when you use the hose. This one does not have all of the bells and whistles of a more expensive vacuum, but if you are just looking for one that cleans well and is "user friendly" - this is the one!
