The Dyson Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is quite an expensive vacuum, so why spend money on something when you don't know if it's worth it or not. Find out if theĀ Dyson DC15 Upright Bagless is worth it, by reading what others have had to say about it, here.
It uses Root Cyclone technology which ensures powerful and continuous suction, for maximum cleaning efficiency.
It also features a 5/7 gallon dust bin, has a lifetime warranted HEPA filter, and is asthma friendly.
The wand and hose have a 17 feet reach, for cleaning stairs and other tall items, while the vacuum remains upright and stable.
The dust removing mechanism is easy to use, as a single press of the remote button at the top of the vacuum makes all the dust empty from the bottom.
To top it all off, the Dyson Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner also comes with a 2 year full warranty.
Users are extremely pleased with how well the Dyson Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner takes care of their house, leaving every carpet and floor as clean as can be.
Build Quality
Dyson is well known for making some of the best and most durable vacuum around, and this reputation is what has drawn users into purchasing this cleaner. They are happy to report that they are not dissapointed, and most units are running just as well as they were on the first day, after several years of use.
Weight
This is one of the things that bothers most users, as they complain that the vacuum is too heavy to be easily pushed around the house. A lot of force must be used to operate the vacuum properly, and as such, it is not suitable for children or elderly people.
Noise and Cleaning Power
The noise the vacuum makes is quite loud, but most users have gotten used to it, and say it is perfectly understandable once you see how powerful the vacuum really is. There have been reports of the vacuum lifting entire carpets or pillows, collecting every ounce of dust and dirt from them. Some users are worried that carpet fiber may be damaged, but there is nothing that can be done about it, at the moment.
Conclusion
The Dyson Kit Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is certainly one of the most expensive vacuums around, but once it is witnessed in action, nobody would want any other model. Users are all very pleased and positive reviews can be found all over, which speaks highly of its build quality and performance.

I bought my Dyson Animal in the spring of 05, that's right, FIVE years ago. And it's still just as good as the day I bought it. I've never had a vacuum last as long as this one has, and of course I credit that to the quality of the product, but I'll tell you what has kept mine working like new for so long.
Once every six months to a year (I have two small kids, so it depends on my time constraints), I pull the whole thing apart. I take the canister apart (very easy to do) and the hoses apart and I give them a thorough washing in soap and hot water. While they say that it doesn't lose suction, I tend to find that as the gunk starts piling up on the suction area, it looses some of its effectiveness. It's just as easy to give it a wash and keep it working like new. I wash all of the filters and then I soak the hoses, and then I inspect the floor brush to rid it of any clogs or debris that might be slowing it down. The whole process takes a few hours. I usually wash the parts at night, and then let them soak, while the filters are drying. Then I put it all back together and it's as good as new. I've never had to replace a belt or any other part on my Dyson, ever.
When people balk at the price, I put it into perspective. You can spend $80 - $150 bucks (or more) on a new vacuum YEARLY, or you can spend the money on the Dyson, and have it last for 5 or more years (I mean, even if the thing died tomorrow, that's still about $120 a year), and have it pay for itself.
Great on pet hair but has the weight of a vintage Buick!

Being a Dyson this model can suck up small farm animals without pausing to chew. The DC15 is a tad on the heavy side and doesn't have the height adjustment the non-ball model has so carpet/rug edges confuse the poor beast. Overall it's Kung-Foo is strong but it's size does not give you the Zen feeling.
The absolute "BEST VACUUM" ever!!!

I have owned many vacuum's (and some of them cost well over $1000) in my time and I do have small dogs and this Dyson DC15 Animal ball vacuum cleaner is awesome and unbelievable. It makes vacuuming easy and you will not believe the suction power. It picks up everything even when the canister if full. It is everything and more that Dyson claims. You can vacuum before or after dusting because nothing escapes this cleaner. A lot of cleaners no matter when you vacuumed with them dust always escaped them. This cleaner is soooooooooooo easy to empty and all I can tell you if you want one GET IT!!! You will be sooo glad you did. If I could have given this a 10 star I would have. This is the best vacuum cleaner ever..... Try it and you will understand!!! I look forward to vacuuming and I thought I would never say that in my life. It takes less than half the time to vacuum as it did before I got this DC15. No adjustments to set for the different floor types, just turn it on and go..........Simply wonderful and a pleasure to own and use. Oh did I mention I am disabled with limited mobility. As Paul Harvey used to say, now you know the rest of the story!!!

I have wanted a dyson for years but could not justify spending the money, I finally broke down a month ago and LOVE it! On the other hand I think dyson could make some serious improvements for the price it sells for.
pros: picks up pet hair like no other vac I have ever used. Same goes for any dirt, dust or debris on my floors. it is easy to carry up the stairs, but because of the length of the wand and shortness of the hose it makes it hard to do the stairs.
cons: I think that the plastic that this vac is made out of is cheap. I know already that there are some small parts that are surely gonna break sooner or later. not impressed with the wand: kinda aquward to get used to getting the hadle and wand off of the vac. and the hose is too short.
overall. I love this vac and wouldnt trade it for anything else. I hate a few things about it, but i have owned a ton of different bagless vacs and they all clog quickly and never pick up all of the per hair. They all have multiple filters and are hard to clean and it never works as well as when you take it out of the box. The dyson has simple filters and they are easy to clean and replace. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

Just finished vacuuming my floor after using my Oreck a day earlier and you would not believe the amount of pet hair that was picked up. My carpet has never looked cleaner. I totally recommend this vacuum cleaner. It was lightweight, easy to manuever and to empty the cleaning bin was amazing. I didnt have to touch anything or turn anything over! All I did was push a button and it all fell out!
I wish I had bought a DYSON earlier. Goodbye Oreck...you are reassigned to the "old vacuum cleaner" area!
