The Dirt Devil M110006 Reaction Soft Touch is an ideal vacuum cleaner. A part of the Reaction series of vacuum cleaners, the Dirt Devil M110006 comes to you from Dirt Devil, a household name in vacuum cleaners. The dual cyclone air system kicks up quite a storm and is more effective in removing and picking up stubborn dust, dirt and debris than a single stream of air.
This model can clean upholstery, carpets, stairs or just about any place where dirt can hide.
It features the patented D2 technology that provides maximum suction power. It has a powerful 12 amp motor that generates two powerful cyclones of air.
The HEPA filter can clean up close to 100% of pollen, dust mites, dust and similar allergens. Combined with the powerful suction of the vacuum cleaner, the HEPA air filter assures you of an allergen and dust free home.
Its 32 feet power cord and a 9.5 foot long hose equips you with the ability to reach the remotest nook or corner in your home. Its rotating power brush makes it simpler for you to clean uneven and tricky surfaces. A useful accessory is the bare floor tool that is designed to clean bare floors.
The vacuum cleaner has a bagless design, Dust is collected in a dirt cup. The dirt cup can be easily cleaned and you will never have to bother with buying disposable bags.
It has scented filters that freshen and deodorize your room as you vacuum.
Another attractive feature is that there is a 4 year warranty not just on the machine, but also on the motor.
Users opined that the vacuum cleaner worked very well in cleaning carpeted areas. It however did not work as expected on vinyl and linoleum floors. The machine is also a little heavy and difficult to move around.
Although slightly heavy at 23 lbs, the Reaction M110006 is not light on dirt.

The attachments fall off when in use. Do not have the option of turning off beater when vacuuming. I want to vacuum wood floors and on low level the beater scratches floor, if I increase one level the beater simply kicks the dirt behind the vacuum and nothing gets sucked up. When starting vacuum after vacuuming something dusty, the vacuum blows out a large puff of the dust. Also the beater turns off when fully upright so you can't use it for stairs. The small attachment they give you for stairs and upholstery fell off the bed ( a 1 1/2 foot drop) and busted into several pieces.
Horrible vacuum

Reviewer: vacuumbuyer,
We have had this vacuum for three years. It never worked that well, it leaves behind lots of hair and crumbs, and the suction hose frequently separates from the vacuum leaving a cloud of dirt and dust. Recently it started to smell funny when I used it, and I went to a vacuum fix-it place who ordered me a new roller brush and cover to the tune of $40 and I put them on- it would not start at all. The motor completely burned out. I want to stress that I don't like to clean, so the vacuum did not suffer from overuse. It is just a piece of junk that I would never recommend buying. I am now looking at a Bissell. Good luck in you search!
Good, but definitely not great

I have had better results than other reviewers. The vacuum suction was so strong it felt like a self-propelled vacuum for awhile. That suction power has reduced some, but regularly emptying the bin when it's about a third full, and cleaning the filter often seems to have led to pretty good performance. I do have to go over areas two or three times. But even if I had a vacuum that promised single pass total cleaning, I'd still go over it at least 2 or 3 times just to be sure. The attachment system is sub par for a vacuum that is priced around $150 or so in most places that I looked. All attachments are "slide on" but should really be called "slip off." I have to press attachments together very strongly in order to keep them in place. Even then, I find I have to re-press every 5 minutes or so of heavy use. The length and flexibility of the hose is fine, and the vacuum remains stable when the hose is extended. But I am 6'1" with long arms and find that I can reach farther than the hose can go when I use the hose extender attachment. Another negative is that the upholstery attachment is lame. The only air opening is at the bottom where the brush roller is located. The brush roller spins based on air suction. The bottom-only opening causes the attachment to seal to fabric and therefore sieze up the roller. It feels like what sucking up a sock must feel like. I'm going to drill a hole in the top to allow an air release just to see what will happen since the attachment is pretty worthless right now. I paid $90 for it from HHGregg and feel that I got a good deal at that price as overall I like the vacuum's performance. It's relatively quiet and not as heavy as you would think for its size. It does a very good job on bare wood floor and berber carpet.
Worst Vacuum Ever

Reviewer: Michael Raiford,
I had a bagless Dirt Devil vacuum before, and it worked well, the filter was a bit of a pain to deal with, and the cage for the HEPA filter fell off at the slightest provocation, but worked well, until it broke due to abuse by someone who borrowed it. So, based on the good history I had with that vacuum, I bought this one. I have owned it for a year and a half, and have hated it since.
Big Mistake! I have replaced more belts on this vacuum than any other vacuum I've ever owned. Simply setting it to a slightly too low floor setting will jam the brush. This device barely picks up dirt, and seems more prone to simply spreading it around. The hose that attaches to the floor brush can easily be knocked loose, but in such a way as to look like it's actually connected. Only to be discovered after putting tremendous effort into cleaning an area, and wondering why that one tiny fleck of paper just seems to get tossed from point to point, then off to reseat the hose and vacuum the area again. The brush stays spinning when the vacuum is in the locked upright position, so when moving it around while using hose attachments you have to be extra cautious. otherwise it will entangle a lamp cord and promptly smoke the belt. The brush hose attachment for cleaning upholstery is an absolute joke. Sure the airflow gets it spinning, but the moment it's even near a surface it stops spinning and only serves to impede airflow.
I've also noticed when using the vacuum as a floor cleaner, the hose from the brush unit tends to clog easily, requiring a full disassembly to access and clear out the hose.
Cleaning bare floor with this vacuum is pointless. The brush simply flings dirt everywhere, and the vacuum doesn't actually pick up any dirt. On the plus side, the filter is washable, and easy to clean. The container is easy to empty, you pull the container off, press a button and the gates on the bottom flip open. Although long hair tends to wrap around the air directors, they're simple to remove and clean.
In short I wouldn't recommend this vacuum. When I can afford one I'll be moving to a different brand. This one product has soured my opinion of Royal vacuums for good.
Not worth the money

Bought this a few months back. Despite regular cleaning of the filter, and emptying the dust bin - this vacuum is just not very effective. Seems to take three or four passes to pick up easy stuff.
I was hoping a washable filter in a bagless vacuum would be a good deal, but performance of this unit is not good enough.

The Reaction Fresh comes with dual cyclonic technology that provides superior suction power that lasts. This patented technology divides the air into two smaller cyclones with air moving at higher velocities than a single cup. The result is better dirt separation. The Reaction Fresh eliminates odors while you clean with a choice of scented or unscented filters. The easy to empty filterless dirt cup means no messy interaction with the filter and dirt. The HEPA filter traps nearly 100% of common allergens. The rotating power brush does an excellent job on your carpets.
