The Bissell 37602 Lift-Off Revolution Pet is a great option for people who are looking for a well rounded and effective vacuum cleaner. The Bissell 37602 features a pet turbo brush, an easy to clean dirt cup and very user friendly attachments.
Features and Performance
To top it all this model has a powerful 12 amp motor that provides powerful suction power. As with most vacuums nowadays, this is a bagless design. A bagless design also means you don't need to buy or keep in stock bags anymore for your vacuum.
This vacuum has an easy to detach canister. Just detach the canister and carry it so that you can use the vacuum in smaller and difficult to reach places such as you car or closet.
Its powerful suction, 15 inch wide cleaning head and rotating brush will pick up hidden vast amounts of dirt and pet hair from your carpets.
Turn off the rotating brush and set the height adjustment when you need to clean bare floors. The Lift-Off 37602 has 7 different height settings that enable you to adjust the vacuum for different types of surfaces.
A HEPA filter in a vacuum is absolutely necessary. The HEPA media filter in this model captures up to 99.9% of dust mites, pollens, and ragweed, assuring you of a allergy free home. The filters can be cleaned very easily.
The machine is available with a number of useful attachments such as the Telescopic cleaning wand and the stretch hose. The stretch hose helps you to clean corners of walls, ceiling fans, curtains and crevices and other difficult to reach places.
Summary
Generally speaking the feedback about this model has been good. Users have liked the suction power and the vacuums ability to draw out dirt from deep within their carpets. They have liked the fact that the vacuum works well on hard surfaces as well.
There are a few issues such as the filters getting clogged very easily and the need to open up the vacuum and remove stuck pet hair. Even in such cases, troubleshooting has been very easy and the vacuum is ready for use in a short period of time.
All in all a powerful vacuum that does a good job with a few minor irritants.
Detachable canister lets you easily clean stairs and hard-to-reach spots
TurboBrush works like a magnet on fur; telescoping wand and stretch hose give you extra cleaning reach

I really love this vaccum cleaner. It's heavy but I believe that's what makes it so good. The removable canister is great for cleaning the stairs or your car. The pet eraser attachment works great on pet hair. I have had to take the attachment appart a couple of time because the gears got messed up with all the hair inside. You have to clean it out sometimes. The cord is nice and log but twists up a lot and gets wrapped around things to easily.
Otherwise great product.
Great Vacuum for the price

I was up in the air for months over wheather to spend $500 for a Dyson pet or to just buy a pet vacuum. I really, really wanted a Dyson but in this economy and for our lifestyle, I simply could not imagine spending that much money on a vacuum. I dont care who it's made by. So i bought this bissell pet vacuum and I am very satisfied. It picked up the hair well. I have 4 English Mastiffs who shed a lot! I found that this vacumm picked up all the hair and a lot of dander and dirt from the carpet. At the end of the day, A vacuum will be a vacumm. Its man made and plastic so they are bound to break and not continue to pick up hair after many many uses. Thankfully for me where I bought mine, it has a lifetime warranty which is better than any Dyson!
I like the fact that the cord comes out the side.
I like that the canister comes off.
not too heavy to take up and down stairs.
I like the new power switches
What a mess..

Bought this vacuum from a big box retailer two months ago. I was in a hurry and desperate for a vacuum as my old Sears one had died on me. This vac seemed to be the sturdiest one on the showroom floor. I should've looked at it closer than I did - this is a purchase I regret.
What I liked about it on first inspection:
- The canister section separates from the body, creating almost the same effect as a canister vacuum. This is handy in case you want to clean stairs, drapes, etc
- Roller height adjustment for different carpet heights
- Weight of the vacuum means deeper cleaning is possible
- Price was nice compared to the selection I had available
Why it seemed nice the first few times I ran it:
- Very strong suction, as it can pull pet hair and cat litter from my medium-thick carpet with no sweat
- The roller auto-shutoff on upright position is a handy feature to keep from running holes into your carpet
- Attachments are handily placed
Why I hate this vacuum:
What I failed to notice in the store, was how the dust canister separates from the body. In most other upright bagless vacuum models, the canister unlocks and the whole thing lifts out - dust, grit, and usually the filter. Some really bright Bissell designer decided that THIS particular canister would unlock and split from the MIDDLE. Check out the stock images available above - the one on the end - to clearly understand. The HEPA filter is at the top of the canister, above the split, and a dinky tiny 2cup sized cup is below the split. Upon emptying the canister for the first time, I was assaulted with a pile of carpet/pet hair, dust, and particulates as it fell from above the break point. Now I'm filthy, the vacuum is filthy, the floor beneath the vacuum is filthy, and the air is full of all the allergens I was hoping to trap. What a mess.
Under no circumstances should I need to break out my Shop-Vac to clean my House-Vac. However, that's exactly what I found myself having to do. Yes, I'm aware if I follow the "empty at this line" guidelines, the mess probably won't be as much of an issue. However, I'm not going to spend every 5 minutes running to and from the waste bin emptying the dinky cup. (I really did time how long a runtime it took to fill to that line.) The canister design is a hideous oversight and completely ruins the usefulness of this vacuum for any more than occasional cleaning.
Excellent vaccuum!

So, here are my stats. Stay-at-home dad with 2 year old and a labrador that loves to shed. Our old vacuum was an upright Royal. Even after vacuuming with my old vac, there was still lingering pet hair. Not so with the Bissel. This vaccuum made me realize how bad my other vacuum was. It is awesome! So, here's what I really like about it.
Great suction-It picks up everything my old vacuum didn't. It was like it redefined what clean meant for my carpet. I can't say this enough. My carpets finally look clean, even close up.
Quieter than others-Some people complain about noisy vacuums. They are vacuums people! Vacuums are noisy. This one is less noisy than my old vacuum and I am very happy about that.
Removable unit for stairs with brush! Nothing is worse than trying to drag a clunky upright unit up and down stairs. The bissel makes it easy and you don't get some half-powered detachment. You get the full power of the vacuum which is surprisingly not too heavy and much less clunky. Your back will thank you for this one. Also, the rotary pet brush attaches for cleaning stairs. Other vacuums, you have to try and brush away pet hair with a non-rotary brush. The bissel has rubber teeth AND a rotary brush. Goodbye pet hair!
Bagless-Another thing you don't have to buy and throw in a landfill. I love the bagless. Some people complain that you have to empty the bin regularly. Yes, you will early on. First time out, I did a high traffic area and had to empty it after a couple sweeps. However, this is another testament to how much better this vacuum is than my last one. Celebrate that all that junk is out of your carpet. On a normal day, you'll have to empty it every couple rooms. No biggie.
Another helpful feature is that the rotating brush stops when the vacuum is upright so you're not burning out the belts or brushes.
IMHO, it would be tough to design a better vacuum and at this price, it's a great deal. Excellent if you have pets.
Horrible vacuum

This vacuum does not suck anything up! It worked for maybe a month or two, and that was it. Now, though there are no clogs and a clean filter, this wont even pick up visible dirt that I can move with my foot! Total waste of money!
